The bedrooms, each with en suite bathrooms, contain beautiful crewel work materials, quality linens and large comfy beds. Each room has been individually designed, with paintings and photographs chosen from the Lowther family's own collection. All rooms have flat screen TVs with built in radio. Room one: Standard (back) - King size bed with access from one side only. Bath with overhead shower. Hanging space only.

Room two: Standard (back) - King size bed, walk in shower, chest of drawers and walk in closet.

Room three: Superior - King size bed, walk in shower, chest of drawers, hanging space.

Room four: Superior - King size bed, walk in shower, antique wooden chest and hanging space.

Room five: Superior - King size bed, roll top bath, armoir (French wardrobe with shelves and hanging space).

Room six: Superior - King size bed, walk in shower, chest of drawers, hanging space.

Room seven: Standard (back) - Flexible twin (3ft) or double, walk in shower, hanging space only.

Room eight: Standard (back) - King size double, walk in shower, chest of drawers and hanging space. Small room - better for short stays only.

Room nine: Standard (back) - Twin (3ft), walk in shower, hanging space.

Room ten: Standard family - Super King size bed, one single and space for an additional folding bed (extra small charge), walk in shower, wardrobe and shelves.

Lonsdale room: Deluxe - King size bed, free standing roll top bath in room, separate walk in shower in bathroom, chest of drawers.

Lowther room: Deluxe double/twin - Super king size bed (or twins), bath with overhead shower and double wash basin, built in hanging space and drawers.

Note – Lowther and Lonsdale bedrooms can be let for a family as there is an outer door in the corridor to maintain privacy.

*Please note that the back rooms are a little smaller and are very slightly affected by noise of the fans during operational hours only as this is a busy working inn.
