Carolyn Fairbairn has been making cheeses since 1979, using milk from goats, sheep and cows. The milk they use is unpasteurised. Around nine different cheeses are produced ranging from soft goat's cheeses to mature hard cheeses, many of which you can taste from our cheese boards.
Tirril Brewery

Our local ales such as Brougham Ale, 1823 and Charles Gough's Old Faithful are lovingly brewed by Tirril.
